This course covers the financial aspects of Dynamics 365: configure and use essential financial components, accounts payable, accounts receivable, collections, budgeting, fixed assets, and additional functionality.

Module 1: Financial Management (40–45%)
Chart of Accounts: Configure accounts, financial dimensions, and account structures.
Ledgers and Currencies: Set up fiscal calendars, ledgers, and currencies.
Journals: Manage journal names, controls, and templates; configure accruals and intercompany accounting.
Cash and Bank: Set up bank accounts, process reconciliations, and configure cash flow reports.
Cost Accounting: Configure costing sheets, cost groups, and perform inventory costing.
Periodic Processes: Manage closing schedules, financial consolidations, and tax reporting.

Module 2: Accounts Receivable, Credit, Collections, and Revenue Recognition (15–20%)
Accounts Receivable: Set up customers, process invoices, and manage payments and holds.
Credit and Collections: Configure credit management, collections processes, and handle delinquent accounts.
Revenue Recognition: Set up revenue schedules and manage recognition transactions.

Module 3: Accounts Payable and Expenses (10–15%)
Accounts Payable: Configure vendors, process invoices, and manage payments.
Expense Management: Set up expense categories, workflows, and handle credit card processing.

Module 4: Budgeting (10–15%)
Basic Budgeting: Configure budget models, codes, and workflows.
Budget Controls: Set up and manage budget controls and checks.
Budget Plans: Create and manage budget plans using templates and scenarios.

Module 5: Fixed Assets (10–15%)
Manage Fixed Assets: Set up asset groups, configure depreciation, and process transactions.
